SOCIAL SKILLS

Social/Emotional Learning curricula is provided daily to support students in participating in a positive school climate and culture. In addition, specific bullying prevention approaches are interwoven in the curriculum through a variety of transition/social pragmatic groups related to their individual education plans, daily social skills class, and small group discussions. Appropriate social skills are not only taught in small groups during structured social skills lessons, but also incidentally across the whole school day.
