The STEM enrichment class has been experimenting with 3D photo scanning (photogrammetry). In order to facilitate the scanning process, one of our students built this motorized LEGO turntable. The table is geared down to turn slowly, permitting easier scanning of an object with a mobile phone camera and specialized software.
