Classroom News - Science

We have been working on ecosystems. The students were excited to build their own terrariums in class using cups, soil, and seeds. Some have already sprouted plants. In addition, we added a new friend to the classroom. His name is "Fishy" - he is a baby Betta fish. The students helped us to create an ecosystem in a bottle, with the fish providing nutrients for a plant that is planted in the inverted top of the bottle. Fishy is doing great and the plant is growing, providing a living example of how animals work together within an ecosystem.
